After finding out how Barret lost his arm and learn more about his past it is time to find a way out of the Corel Prison. Chocobo Joe will help us with that. But before we can escape we need to settle the issue Barret has with his past. We continue to explore the Corel Prison The enemy’s here are a real pain. If they dont rob you they can do really good damage. To not get robbed i use Summons very regular. Matra Magic is also a good choice and is not so hard on AP.
The Guy that blocked the Door where we came in is gone now. We can explore a new Area, there we are finding Dyne, Barrets old Friend from Corel. He is gone Crazy over time and can not be convinced to come back to sense. He wants to destroy everything so we end up in a Boss fight against him. Barret wants to fight him alone. His attacks are pretty strong but he has not to much HP. Its a really sad part of the story and reveals how good the game is in carrying emotion even with the limited possibilities of the Graphics and with Text only.
We are meetin Mr. Coates, he is the Number 1 in the Prison and he tells us the only way to get out is with a Chocobo Race. We meet Ester, she will be our Chocobo Manager and she will take a big role in the Chocobo Races later in the Game when Chocobo Breeding is possible. She tells us how to ride a Chocobo and we get to the Jokey Room. There the Chocobo Jokeys are waiting to start the Race and we meet Chocobo Joe and get a new Summon Materia.
