Gaming 💎 Final Fantasy 7 💎 FF7-Original 💎 FF7 Longplay – Part 69: Shinra Mansion Basement

created @ 08.04.2021 by Long

Before going to the Shinra Mansion Basement it is time to make a proper Save. As you might noticed the Group got killed from the Numberless Boss last Time. But first things first: lets see if there is any good loot around that can make the fight more easy!

After some investigation about the Numberless Boss i find out that the phases you will fight them depends on certain things. As mentioned before the Boss is Frankenstein like stitched together. It depends which attack you use last before he transitions when his HP hits below 3,498.

If the damage was inflicted by a magic attack, Lost Number will turn red and gain a substantial increase in its Magic and Magic Defense stats. It will attack with powerful magic, but has lower DEF, so the party should use physical attacks.

If the damage was inflicted by a physical attack, Lost Number will turn purple and gain a boost in Attack and Defense. It will attack with strong physical attacks, but has low MDEF, so the party should attack with spells. This form is dangerous because he may inflict over 2400 damage with Lost Blow.

If the damage was inflicted via Poison, no effect will happen until Lost Number takes a physical or magical attack. Thus, if the player chooses to defeat Lost Number with Poison only, he will never change form.

Using Poison to defeat him is a good Tactic since it deals quite some damage and will do so even you run out of MP or loose some Teammembers. After the Fight is done, lets do another Save and the Head down to the Shinra Mansion Basement… A very important area of the Game!

Final Fantasy 7

Final Fantasy VII throws you into a scenario of poverty and hopelessness, and the first mission immediately shows you how far the world has come and how far people are willing to go…

Our main character Cloud is a confused man, there were not many constants in his life. Not only does the world end, the game then throws Cloud’s fate in your face, whose world is breaking in on itself….

The odds are against you, but giving up is not an option! It is the very different characters that have found each other even when the world was against them that make the game’s story so interesting…
