Mt. Nibel is not only a good place to loot, it is home to Nibelheim Reactor. Many years ago, Mt. Nibel was one of the many earliest locations where Shinra Electric Power Company erected a mako reactor. While the nearby town of Nibelheim prospered due to the power it supplied, its forests and wildlife withered away. The mountain became a barren coarse wasteland notorious for its dangerous monsters. From which many of the locals speak tales of people who ventured into its heights only to never return.

Nibelheim Reactor is a mako reactor on top of Mt. Nibel owned by the Shinra Electric Power Company. It was particularly infamous for its role in the Nibelheim Incident that resulted in Sephiroth losing his sanity. It is visited in Final Fantasy VII in a flashback and during the party’s route through Mt. Nibel to reach Rocket Town.

In this Part there is not much to do. The Group roams around explores everything but the important part of the Story was told by Cloud in Kalm allready you would think… The tragedy that happend five Years ago seem to have never happend. But everybody in the City denies that. The Mountain and the reactor offer nice loot but we need to come back here when the Story progresses to get the whole Story.
