Oh this afternoon the GSC Game World Developers published a Tweet and told the Community some bad News: Stalker 2 release delayed!

After the failed integration for NFTs in the Game another bad News for the Game. Stalker 2 Heart of Chernobyls new release Date is the 08 December 2022. The iconic Date of the previous release Date 28 April 2022, exactly 36 Years after the Chernobyl is not possible.

As a Fan of the Stalker Series i don’t want to wait even if i waited 10 Years all ready. You could argue that half a Year is not a drastic postponement in relation to 10 Years. But as someone who followed the Rumors and Development of Stalker 2 which has ben announced and canceld many times its hard to keep waiting. And after all that we have seen from the Dev Updates there is all ready a lot stuff done and a cancel of this Game is unlikely i guess!

But i am also Happy that the Developers at GSC Game World don’t want to published a unfinished Product. That shows their dedication and that this is not a Cashgrab. Imo a NFT Integration would be nice. I think its cool to push new Technologies but here to the Developers has changed the Product in the favor of the Community. However thats also a dangerous route to take. If the masses decide instead the juvenile King with his experience it could change the desired output.
